Synopsis

I am a junior at Augustana college triple majoring in Chemistry, Applied Math and Computer Science.

I am a student ambassador and what I do is, show families around campus especially families of perspective students. I share my Augustana Experience with them in an attempt to convince them why the Augie is the best fit for their child.

I am also a career ambassador, this a highly regarded position on-campus and it involves helping students with their resumes, cover letters, personal statements and just their internship, job, or grad school search in general. We sometimes organize and host career events. I am also a track athlete.

For the two years I have been here, I have been able to buy land for my family and move them from the condemned house they were living in to a fully furnished house, with ample electricity, running water and a way conducive shelter compared to the one I grew up in.

I intended to pursue a PHD in theoretical chemistry immediately after my undergraduate. I am currently looking into University of California-Berkeley for graduate school, they have the best theoretical chemistry in the country.
