Synopsis

Interested in equitable management and development of water resources,Ida is studying for an MSc in Water Science, Policy & Management at the University of Oxford. Previously, she has worked as a Project Coordinator for the Global Environment and Technology Foundation (GETF) in Virginia, US, where she engaged in the Replenish Africa Initiative – a Coca-Cola company project to provide two million people in Africa with access to safe drinking water by 2015. She graduated from the North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (2013) and from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry (2013).Upon completing her Masters, Ida wishes to be involved in the sustainable development of water resources for urban use in Africa starting with her home country, Kenya.
