Serunjogi Fauziat is from Kampala, Uganda, and attended Nabisunsa Girls School for high school. Presently, Fauziat is a 2nd year MasterCard Foundation Scholar at McGIll University, doing a Bachelors Degree in Social Work.
In 2011, Fauziat got the opportunity to attend the “reframing and ending Gender Based Violence and Violence against Women” Fauziat is currently a member of UN women Canada and World Vision Canada. In Canada, Fauziat has volunteered with Homework zone, Single Mothers Network and has been part of the Human rights for the 21st century movement. Fauziat is currently doing her internship with Single Mothers Network (SIMONET). Fauziat speaks English, Kiswahili, Arabic, Luganda and Rutooro
